Packers’ offense out of sync

This time Aaron Rodgers didn’t tell anyone to relax. The Packers’ quarterback simply said he isn’t going to overreact. To Rodgers’ credit, at least he acknowledged there is a problem with the Packers’ once-vaunted offense. Its utter lack of rhythm, execution and big plays was on display in Green Bay’s 17-14 loss to Minnesota at new U.S. Bank Stadium Sunday night. If anyone has seen the Packers’ offense circa 2014 please return it to 1265 Lombardi Ave. ASAP.

HOF Game Cancellation Update

All customers of Event USA who purchased packages that included game tickets have received refunds from Event USA for the ticket component. As you may be aware from various news releases, a class-action lawsuit has now commenced against the Hall of Fame and the NFL on behalf of fans who held tickets to the game. The Hall of Fame has since announced a program under which fans could apply for a compensation package that would include a lodging refund and other features and amenities. Fans who already received ticket refunds from us would not receive a second ticket refund from the Hall of Fame, but are eligible to apply for the other items in the compensation package. Packers’ defense keeps its cool to seal 27-23 victory

The Packers began a sweltering Sunday by honoring the 15th anniversary of 9/11. Then they went to work in 90-degree heat to earn a 27-23 victory over the pesky and much-improved Jaguars at Jacksonville. For all of the mistakes and potential concerns in their choppy season-opener, I suspect the Packers and Jaguars will be among the NFL’s top playoff contenders by December.
